When I moved out to the University of Idaho I was looking for a fresh start. That first year at college I got connected with the church and by the end of that Fall I had given my life to Jesus. I had gone to college looking for something new, but didn’t anticipate how God took hold of my life. The biblical training mixed with practical application was exactly what I needed. After college, I moved back to Gig Harbor and got involved serving in a local church and soon found myself leading the youth group. I hadn’t grown up going to any type of youth group, but I had the foundation laid by LFF inside of me, and 9 and a half years later both my wife and I continue to serve with the youth of our church. Looking forward to what lies ahead, I am truly blessed to have been built up and equipped by the people at LFF. It helped me to become a leader in my church and encourage others to grow in their faith.
